Sokol is a very experienced guide with an extensive knowledge of Albanian history right up to present day and happy to answer any question you may have. As it is low season I had a solo tour and was very enjoyable; I highly recommend!

It was a very nice walk with Sokol. He share with us the story of Tirana but also of the whole Albania. It was a very interesting way to get to know something more about this country. Sokol speaks very good English and organises the tour in a reasonable way - in 1h30 he presents all the must sees and shares a lot of information. Thank you Sokol!

Despite it being a rainy morning and me being the only guest, Sokol made me feel welcome and showed genuine enthusiasm for telling about the city. My only criticism was that I had expected a half-day tour as advertised, but we only went from nine until shortly after eleven, despite my expressing willingness and interest in continuing.
My partner and I did the 4h tour in September with Sokol. The group has a maximum of 8 people, which made it more manageable. Sokol gave us valuable insights of Albanian history (he lived the transition of regime, which made it extra interesting) and useful tips for travelling after, as well as answered all our questions, thank you so much!! I would definitely recommend this tour to future tourists in Tirana as you get to understand the city.

Fascinating tour in English by our local guide Sokol. He detailed the history of the Albanian people, took us on a tour of the city centre and recounted his experiences growing up during communist era.
